Help power a cleanup as big as Texas itself!
Since its inception in 1986, the Texas Adopt-A-Beach program has witnessed the dedication of more than 567,000 volunteers who have collectively removed over 9,800 tons of trash from Texas shores.
As an Adopt-A-Beach Event Support Volunteer, you will assist with one or more of the following roles:
- Parking Lot Support: Guide arriving vehicles, assist with signage, and welcome guests
- Check-In Greeter: Greet arrivals, collect waivers, and direct volunteers to the next station
- Supply Monitor: Keep cleanup supplies stocked and volunteers moving
- Setup & Breakdown Support: Help staff prepare the event area and pack materials at the end
- Trash Data Assistant: Support GBF staff with weighing collected debris and recording data
No experience is necessary. Staff will show you everything you need to know.
Portable restrooms will be available onsite. Breakfast will be provided, and Adopt-A-Beach swag will be available for volunteers to take home.
