Help Get Bike Around the Bay Rolling!

We are getting ready for our big annual fundraiser, Bike Around the Bay ↗. This two-day, 170-mile ride sees thousands of riders pedaling to raise critical funds for Galveston Bay Foundation's conservation work and hundreds of volunteers pitching in to make it happen.

Before riders hit the road, there’s plenty to get ready and our Prep Crew is the team that gets us to the starting line.

As part of the Prep Crew, you will work alongside staff and fellow volunteers to:

Sort and roll event shirts Organize supplies and pack event bins Assemble and organize rider packets for pickup Help with other light event-prep tasks as needed

Please bring a reusable water bottle and snacks. Restrooms and wi-fi are available onsite. Be prepared for standing, walking, and light lifting throughout the shift.

When you help prepare Bike Around the Bay, you help create an experience that inspires riders and supporters to give back to Galveston Bay.

Help us gear up for the starting line!

We are getting ready for our big annual fundraiser, Bike Around the Bay ↗. This two-day, 170-mile ride sees thousands of riders pedaling to raise critical funds for Galveston Bay Foundation's conservation work and hundreds of volunteers pitching in to make it happen.

Before the big ride, supplies have to get where they need to go and Loading Volunteers get our supply trucks ready to hit the road.

As a Loading Volunteer, you will work alongside staff and fellow volunteers to:

Complete final counts before supplies are moved Organize and arrange boxed and loose supplies Move supplies using wagons, hand trucks, and safe lifting to load items into trucks Assist GBF staff with additional event-preparation tasks as needed

Lunch will be provided, and all volunteers will receive an official Bike Around the Bay volunteer T-shirt. Restrooms and wi-fi are available onsite. Be prepared for an active shift that includes standing, walking, bending, carrying, and lifting.
