Galveston Bay is the heartbeat of Texas, and every action we take shapes its future for generations to come.
That’s why we partner with community groups, companies, and schools to restore habitat, improve water quality, and protect a vital ecosystem that sustains lives and livelihoods.
Community Event Volunteering
Most of our service opportunities take place during high-impact, community events that align with our conservation and restoration priorities.
All groups are welcome to join us for our public, annual events which take place throughout the year. Visit our Community Events page to learn more.
Adult Group Volunteers
Private service days typically take place on weekdays or weekends that do not conflict with existing events or projects.
Opportunities vary by season and staff availability. Sponsorship is not required to host a private volunteer experience, but does increase our ability to host your group outside of our committed schedule.
K-12 Youth Groups
School and youth groups looking to participate in a one-day, hands-on service learning event can join us through our Students in Action program. Please review the program PDF here before registering with our Education Team.
Scout groups should visit our Youth Leadership & Service page for more information on award-level projects and youth-led volunteering.
